The U-16 girls faced a tough opposition today, a team that had reached the final of the National Cup in the previous season. The girls arrived at Eton Manor with only 13 players, 5 of which are brand new to the game this season.

Despite facing a losing battle, the 13 girls kept their heads high and gave the match their all. Most of the girls were playing out of position due to low availability. Captain Gwen and prop Isabella both had some good runs, breaking the line of defence on multiple occasions, but sadly just falling short of the try line.

Eton Manor voted Gwen their Player of the Match.

Our Forward of the Match was Exaucee and Back of the Match was Geri, playing just her second ever game of rugby!
