Desperados at Upminster

This Saturday saw the Desperados travel the short distance into leafy Havering to take on the Vets of Upminster.
The wonky scoreline means there probably isn’t much to report on the game itself! But suffice to say the D’s put in a battling performance with hardly a missed tackle all game and had a nice afternoon regardless, getting muddy and enjoying some port in the sunshine! As always, rugby was the winner!
Great to see some debutants in Billy Winter and Sam Hall who made some great tackles and even went on a couple of runs.
Upminster were great hosts, providing plenty of Lager and Guinness for refreshments during the Calcutta Cup.

Thanks to all those that turned up and pulled a shirt on. Last Vets game of the season is scheduled for 6th April
