This Saturday saw another historic day for the club as our Men’s first team won the Essex Senior Cup for first time in it’s history against a determined Brentwood side!

The afternoon didn’t start too well being 20-3 down at half-time but the boys dug deep and managed to pull one hell of a comeback to win the game in dramatic fashion with a final score of 22-20.

This means the club is quite possibly the only club in Essex to win all 3 of the County Cups (The Presidents Shield being won numerous times, most recently in 2019 and the Intermediate Cup in 2022)

Congrats and well done must go to the players, coaches and volunteers that helped bring yet even more silverware home to Central Park!

The players now take a well-earned break (notwithstanding our Liverpool Tour next week) before starting preparations for another season in Regional 2 Anglia come September. For anyone interested in playing for any of our men’s teams next season please get in touch!
