Dagenham 2nds get their first win of the season

Well what can i say, well i’ll start off with the amount of players that turned up to play a home game against Ravens who weren’t a walk in the park at all. No matter what the score was they stood their ground with a very good winger. Dagenham 2nds managed to keep hold of the ball for most of the game and by the end of the first half the D’s were up by 41-10. Second half we keeped on pushing forward with our very strong pack. Unfortunately I had to come off but the D’s still kept pushing. Scott Ballard twisted his knee five minutes before the end so being the captain I couldn’t let my team down who I am so proud of that I came back on and still managed to get a try in lol. I would like to welcome our new player Chad who played at hooker and did a fantastic job. Hope to see you back next week, last of all I would like to say thank you to the whole team who all gave it 110 per cent. I couldn’t ask any better from you all and its a great feeling to finally have my first win being the captin with a great result 67-31. Let’s move forward with this win and lets show Basildon 3rd's that we are no walk over.
